OLYMPIC TEST EVENT IN RIO: START THIS SUNDAY!
Dear fans and partners,
With 339 athletes representing 52 nations the world elite in Olympic sailing is going to battle hard during this Olympic Test Event. In Rio our Nacra 17 class will be represented by 20 nations, with one crew per nation. Our racing begins this Sunday, Aug. 16, with 12 races spread over four days, and then the Medal Race scheduled for Friday 21st August.

OUR TARGET: TOP 8 ... GO, GO, GO TEAM B&B !
The 2015 Test Event, a year ahead the "real" 2016 Olympic Games, is a major goal of our project.
A top 8 ranking will definitively confirm our athlete personal selection for the 2016 Olympics, according to the criterion set by Swiss Olympic and SST.
As a reminder, thanks to our nice 6th place at 2014 World Championship, we had already filled the IOC criterion of the national quota, offering to Switzerland the Nacra 17 spot to Rio 2016.
STRESSFUL PREPARATION
In Rio since late July, we have accumulated hours of experience on this complicated Olympic waters, sailing, testing and tunning equipment often up at night.
Unfortunately we had to fight with unexpected technical problems on our racing machine ... our Nacra has aged faster than expected!. You cannot buy the time: our training schedule in Rio suffered a bit for the time lost on the surgical tables of local boatbuilders ...
Eventually this stress has consolidated our "team spirit", increasing our willingness to fight even harder.
