Medal Race
What a final! The points were so close.. it was a great fight. We were about to finish 3rd at the Medal Race (and therefore 3rd overall) when our gussneck broke, 200m before the finishing line... Hard time. We lost 2 places and ended up 5th and 5th overall. We were all a little frustrated but at the end, we realised how good we sailed this week. We can be very happy of our performance. We havent sailed for two months together and we scored some very strong races at the front of the fleet.
It's time now for a week off and we will all meet in Hyères again to prepare the next event (ISAF World Cup 22-26th of April). Thank you everybody for your support.
Finals
We scored some really good races during those two days of finals. We had a perfect day today with a 7-1-3. Yesterday was about to be that good but we had a capsize (we were 2nd) at the first race just before the finishing line and then a 1st and a 5th. We are super happy the way we sail after such a long break. We are pushing hard .. and having fun!
We are currently 3rd overall. The points are close and we still have 3 more races on Friday before the Medal race. Go go go !!!
Day 1
A crazy day in Palma with wind shifts of 90° and between 5 et 30 knots! We end up winning the first race of the day :) The second race didnt go so good and we scored a 12th. We are 8th overall after the first day. 3 races are planned tomorrow from 11am on. Go go go Team BB !!!
After 8 long weeks of rehabilitation for Nat' and other kind of sailing for Mati, we are back together on our Nacra! So good to be back on board again! We had already 3 really nice training days in Palma to prepare the first EuroCup of the season.
Here is the link of the event which starts on Monday 30th of March until the 4th of April and here a nice article about Nat’s injury in newspaper La LIberté.
